I have the mcafee security program. I’m running a spyware scan on my computer with it right now but it takes FOREVER. Will mcafee detect this "Personal antivirus" program as spyware and remove it from my computer? I heard this particular spyware program is highy sophisticated and some spyeware removal programs will not detect it as spyware. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it without spending any money?

All of a sudden this "Personal Antivirus" stuff keeps coming up on my desktop and it won’t go away. I tried downloading a spyware thing to get rid of it but that didn’t help. It won’t allow me to view any web pages and keeps popping up alerts that tell me I have a virus. I have windows vista. Does anybody know how to delete this program quickly and free?

Hi. I accidentally downloaded Personal Antivirus and now it keeps popping up. But it doesn’t on other users accounts. If I delete my user account will it be gone? Is there a way to remove it without downloading anything? If there is please leave step by step directions.

My computer is too open for fake antiviruses! So far I have Total Security, Spyware Doctor, and some Personal Antivirus on here! I desperately need help! I need something that is free and doesn’t need a license to work! Please people, I’ll vote best answer myself! Thank you to all who answer!
