How is it possible comodo antivirus scanned the whole computer in 15 minutes only?

i doubt the scan was thorough. it is impossible to scan the whole computer in such little time. mcafee took 7 hours and even avast used to take 5 hours. Is comodo antivirus really doing the job?

i’m using avast home edition . The new version has been released on their website. It s a freeware. You can register yourself on the avast website to recive the registration key . They provide timely updates (small in size, ie. In kb’s. Which s usefull for people with limited internet plans ). It s fully legal n it generates a virus recovery database to report avast about the new viruses .
To detect n delete malwares on your comp use malware bytes . Another free software . N a powerfull tool to clean your comp of malwares. I use these softwares myself .

Comodo antivirus kind of sucks, sorry but it’s not very good. What makes comodo outstanding is it’s defense+ and firewall. If you know what you’re doing, virtually nothing can infect your PC. Also, comodo is very fast and light, so the scan speed isn’t too surprising.

Hard to say, but Komodo seemed pretty thorough when I had it. I say ‘had’ because it’s thoroughness got extremely annoying (nonstop pop-ups for everything…………)
